Back in the 1980s Pioneer were the very best at Car Audio system, and they decided to make a limited edition speaker range called the V series.

Firstly any speaker is only as good as its magnet size, and this small 4' speaker uses the FULL width to allow the magnet to be as big as possible.

To give you an example I have a photo to show the single speaker weighs in at 1.5kg approx. and if we compare this to a VERY GOOD Focal speaker which weighs in at 600g you can see the difference.

The main issue with any 4' speaker is lack of bass, and by making this unit that large it gives maximum bass from the size allowed.
