Analog simbox GFX-11
The GFX11 is a SIM box that acts as an interface between mobile phones, analog telephone systems and devices. It is a quad band simbox (800/900/1800/1900 MHz), making it compatible with virtually all European mobile phone operators. The existing telephone system can be coupled through the FXS port. Incoming calls can be routed to all lines within the PBX. Outgoing calls to mobile numbers can be routed automatically or fix the simbox depending on the features available on the existing plant.
The Matrix GFX-11 can also be used stand-alone in conjunction with an ordinary analog telephone. Access to long distance communications and international calls can be controlled via scheduling of allowed and banned numbers. The GFX-11 provides additional capabilities such as caller ID, hotline, displaying the signal strength of the respective mobile operator.
Why a simbox?
Besides the advantage of mobility, there is the undeniable cost benefit: a connection from mobile phone to mobile phone is much cheaper than a fixed-mobile connection.
